A Few Questions

My son visited HWS and really liked it. I was not along on the trip. He was there in June when no students were on campus. He wants to go back in fall and visit again.

We are from Ohio - are most of the students from the NE?

Ds does not drink (yet) and I was wondering if there is enough to do in Geneva and on campus.

Also, is it difficult to get the classes you want/need?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Most are from NE, but you’ll get some from other regions. I know a few people from Ohio, actually.

There’s not a whole lot to do in Geneva, FYI, unless you’re of drinking age and can head downtown. There are a handful of weekend events and such for nondrinkers but not too much.

Getting into classes shouldn’t be too difficult, especially if you’ve got a good relationship with the professor. It does depend on the course, though.

Boomer 22, to assess how much there is to do on campus, take a look at the activities calendar over time and the photo gallery on the HWS website to get a sense of variety and frequency of activities that are offered. I’ve been impressed that there always seems to be plenty of things going on; it’s mostly a matter of choosing (and somehow getting your homework done)!
