Hi!
- Mount Holyoke or Reed? Yes yes. I know the whole Reed is for intellectuals but realistically speaking, should one go to Reed which is in the much isolated and slightly economically backward state or should one go to Mount Holyoke where one can get a greater experience through the 5 college consortium, can network more successfully, can be more successful with employment, can transfer or attend graduate schools like Harvard and pay instate tuition? Also keeping in mind the fact that it doesn’t matter where you do your undergrad from and the fact that both Reed and Mount Holyoke are very recognized with graduate schools and are great schools on their own. (Also someone please clarify if domestic students can get to pay less - in state tuition - if they go to graduate schools or do they even have to take out loans?)
- If one wants to branch out in the medical field and wants to, let’s say, attend Harvard Med School then is staying within the Massachusetts area more beneficial (attending MHolyoke) in terms of in state tuition or does it not matter and one should go to Reed because it has a great science program?
