"A for Admission" says Penn was "less selective"

...says that Penn was less selective than Dartmouth, Columbia, etc. back in 2002 or so. That's obviously not true now though; I know a bunch of kids who got into Dart/Columbia/Brown and came here. Why and how did that change? Is Penn going to be able to maintain its rank, or is it going to fall back down?

Penn is getting more prestigious which results in more applications and more competitive/selective.

Yes, Penn is an amazing university.
Dr. Gutmann keeps improving it, as did her predecessor, and the Penn is finally getting it's long deserved recognition.

I found these two interesting videos:
YouTube - "There's Nothing Stopping Our Students"
YouTube - Penn: Making History

Seen them all already.
They just made me more excited to apply to Penn, and hopefully be a part of their alma mater :)

It's a virtuous cycle. Penn is in the best position to move up (one of the virtues of having started at the bottom)
