A freestyle on Calculus I just wrote

apdoolittle :
haha.. nice poem. which direction?

here's a classic cheesy one.

Q: Why shouldn’t you do your Calc homework when you’re drunk?

A: Because it isn’t safe to drink and derive!

More calc jokes:
What is the integral of "one over cabin" with respect to "cabin"?
Answer: Natural log cabin + c = houseboat.

Mr.Doolittle! We meet again! Haha, but that's precisely why I do not enjoy Critcal Reading and prefer math. Math is objective; english is subjective. ;(

Haha, that's the 1st time i've heard that . . nice

Q: Simplify the equation "A^2W^2=BE^2R

A: A&W=Root Beer (AW=sqrt(BEER)

Hey Sarorah!

So Save Me, that's good! Drink and derive :D

Vyse and DukeEgr93, ha! LOL, to think that some pretty darn funny words and sentences can be made from combining certain words with math terms - that's awesome!

Btw, the direction would be "as x approaches 0 from the positive direction (or the right side) b/c as that happens, y gets closer and closer to (positive) infinity." If it were from the negative direction, y would get closer to negative infinity (and it may not be a love poem after all) ;)

BTW, keep 'em coming! There've been some really fun and creative Calc-savvy CCers! Let's keep it up everyone. Remember: This thread has to undergo exponential growth!
