A Freshman's Guide To RPI

Super important issue: I heard the food is not good. What do you think?

@anxiouswreck My son absolutely loves it. Coming from a latin family with plenty of flavor and spices he felt right at home at RPI. From the cinnabuns in the Sage, to the massive beast turkey subs at the Union. By the way, the slices of pizza at the Union are humongous so don’t order two, one is enough, trust me.

@anxiouswreck It’s not bad - it’s actually pretty good, it just gets redundant. I complained a lot about it as a freshman but when I moved off campus and started cooking for myself, now I miss the meal plan food a lot actually.

My son is a senior in HS but his New Visions program takes him to the RPI campus a lot and he loves the sushi!! fingers crossed he gets admitted, we will know this weekend. Thank you joedoe for all your great information.

@joedoe Thank you for all your help, you have helped many of us parents and students. I had not seen this till today, my son and I both read your guide…
