does anyone know someone who got in with similar stats?

so.. ** basically everything is good to go except my stats are a tiny bit below average**

USC's averages (middle 50%) are..

unweighted GPA: 3.69
weighted GPA: 4.07
SAT I: 1950-2025

where did you get those stats in red at the bottom from?

i would say you've definitely got a shot with all those EC's and you SAT's arent THAT bad

i'm aiming for USC's annenberg and some CCer posted this link online of last year's kids who got in Annenberg.

http://annenberg.usc.edu/images/PDFs/06fs.pdf

that's where I got my stats from.

Yes, ofcourse you have hope! From my experience, USC seems to look at the "whole applicant" more than most universities of its caliber.

I'm also curious where you got the stats in red from. The weighted GPA seems accurate, but the unweighted and the SAT range are a bit lower than what I've seen before.

ah, I see. The middle 50% SAT from that link is 1953-2150 (with a higher upper bound than the figure you quoted)

As a side note, I think your EC's fit the major quite nicely.

thanks, sfgiants... how important do you think the Senior midyear report is to USC? Is it be more important for borderline applicants like me?

yea, it'll be more important. At the same time, grades earned in the prior few years still make up the bulk of their evaluation. In other words, if you are classified as a rejectee (not saying you are!), even stellar midyear grades won't save you.

would anyone else like to chance me? Any final thoughts?
