<p>Is this stuff about the frats true? My school doesn't have them, or at least not a lot...:(</p>
<p>Greek life varies from school to school. Just like your school is at one end of the spectrum in terms of Greek presence and other schools have a significant Greek presence, there are varying levels of achievement from school to school. Yes, at my school, the greeks are overwhelmingly the most successful group of students on campus, there are other schools in which the only achievement the greeks can claim is being drunker or higher than any group on campus. It really varies. As much as I love my fraternity, and as much of my achievement I can directly attribute to my chapter, there are plenty of places where I would never, ever, consider joining a chapter (or allow friends or family to join).</p>
<p>Anyhow, clubs for other colleges, around how much money do u guys get from the school each year?</p>
<p>"Clubs" at my school (student organizations, not really clubs) can get anywhere from $100-$5,000 from Student Government for yearly budgets. Additional funding is received, but it's less standardized.</p>
