A question for those who have recently taken the AP Chinese exam

Hey guys, I’m taking the AP Chinese exam this May and was wondering if anyone who recently took the test knows how hard the multiple choice section is compared to the released 2007 exam on the college board website (http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/2007_Chinese_Released_Exam_FINAL.pdf) because the 2007 multiple choice section seems RIDICULOUSLY hard compared to the Baron’s practice exams.

Also, does anyone have an estimate for the percentage you need to get on the test to get a 5? I’ve been hearing rumors of a 75% but I’m not exactly sure that’s accurate.

Thanks.

I have taken the test last year and got a 5. All I used was the Barrons AP book. As for the MC, it isn’t too hard, but you have to understand how to read most of the words. Most of the questions are quite direct, so if you understand the passage, you’ll do fine.
