<p>The errors and immense missed lines are because I was typing ONLY words when I heard them, no cheating and the song went sorta fast.<br>
I wish I had done a little better though.</p>

<p>I love WPM in keyboarding class, but the teacher doesn't let me type looking at my fingers. I can look at fingers and get 75-90 or not look and get 60-80</p>

<p>I type at around 85. (Looking is cheating logistics, the entire point of knowing how to type is not looking!)</p>

<p>Anyone use a dvorak layout? I've rearranged my keyboard, but I keep switching to qwerty because typing slowly to learn is so frustrating. (Looking at my fingers, at this point, would be extremely confusing!)</p>

<p>Is there any advantage to a dvorak setup? I'm too used to qwerty anyway...</p>

<p>supposedly it's more efficiently designed (qwerty was made to prevent jams on manual typewriters)</p>

<p>I know its cheating if you do it on a graded timing in class, so I don't. I just look during mavis. I don't see it matters much if I look because which ever works best is what i'd use in real life.</p>

<p>the dvorak is a lot more efficent. I think it never became big because it was during the depression and people held it back because they thought the release of it would lead to even more unemployment.</p>

<p>my fastest ever was 120wpm but usually i get 100wpm with 80%+ accuracy</p>
