i still don't get why the answer is C.
And I don't think Susan Ward wrote about the life of a grandparent.
what does the work "wrote" here mean? does that just mean write some thing down, or display???
thank you!

no one??? come on....

I don't have the book in front of me but I remember the passage. Ward says that she is writing about her grandfather (in the process of writing, not completed yet) and the passage mentions that their lives are very similar (about 2-3 times, small mentions of it), so the answer would not be that she has written accounts of anything, but, rather, that their lives are similar.

The narrator wrote about his grandmother in the passage.

Go back to line 9-11 of the passage and you will see where it said Susan was writing about her grandfather.

The question asked about the parallel between the narrator and Susan.
with the choices given C is the answer because they both wrote about one of their grandparent.

There was no mentioned of resentment by Susan,so A is wrong,
There was no mentioned that the narrator lived in many parts of the world so B is wrong.
There was no mentioned about the narrator feeling alienated from a spouse so D is wrong.
There was no mentioned that the narrator prefer loneliness to company so E is wrong.
