I'm applying for a scholarship and it says to list the name of my employer. The problem is, I don't really have an employer. I make money by babysitting, petsitting, yard work, catering, and selling photography. Should I just put that my employer is none or self? Is this bad?

You can either list yourself or the individual paying you. However, if you do the latter, ask for their permission first. I’m sure the scholarship committee will understand. If you are really worried, why not call the scholarship organizers and ask?

You don’t have a fixed job, so you don’t have an employer. It is OK to just leave the space blank or write N/A for Not Applicable in the space.
