Hi! I recently competed in the Maine One-Act festival.

Anyway, I got the lead role of the play, Pinocchio, which is wonderful because I have such a blast pretending to be a cackling 7-year-old-delinquent! ^_^ (This is the original story, not the sappy, Disney-corrupted one.)

Our drama club won 1st place once again, which is spectacular! We get to move on to the State level, competing with the cream of the crop. It's probably the best time in the world. We are all super-duper excited!

Anyhow, I should probably get to the point (haha, I'm still ecstatic from last night's win). At the regional drama festival, I was honored with the "All Festival Cast" award. This was given to the best actors and actresses out of the entire festival, which consisted of eight schools.

I was just wondering how colleges regard such an award.

My friends tell me that later on, I'm likely to get the "All Festival Cast" award for the State level as well. (I don't mean to be arrogant)

How would colleges look at a State-level award?
