<p>ser- is the future stem of the french verb etre (with an accent circonflexe on the e, don't know how to do that), and the il/on form has the ending "a", so "sera" is definitely a French verb (I have no idea about Spanish). "Que" means the same thing in both languages I think, too. </p>

<p>So it definitely makes sense in French, though it probably (judging from everyone else lol) is a Spanish idiom.</p>

<p>BUT the way it is usually pronounced is not the French way, I think it's the spanish way.</p>

<p>no im in ap spanish lol and it is spanish. sera is future tense of ser, which means "is or be." so 'que sera' means 'what will be', and 'sera' means 'will be'</p>

<p>It is either Portugese or Spanish. (Don't know enough about the two languages to tell you)</p>
