Hello,
I'm looking at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for their 2 year conservatory programs. Both schools seem very impressive and I'm not sure which is better for me. I'm very serious about acting, I went to a performing arts high school and I am looking to continue my training at the best school possible.

If anyone can give me some feedback/comparisons (positive or negative) I would be very grateful!
Thank you so much!

You might be better off looking over on the Backstage.com message board for these types of programs. I will forewarn you that you won’t see many positive comments about either over there. As I recall, the one that does seem to get a lot of positive feedback on both coasts is the Adler conservatory. The same could be said for the full-time Atlantic Theater program, Circle in the Square, and Maggie Flanagan’s studio in New York. In LA, Joanne Barron’s studio apparently has a two year program that gets a lot of props for Meisner training. Of course, that’s just off the top of my head from casual reading and there are many more offering extended non-degree training in both cities.

Thank you so much!
