The AP Calc AB exam covers Calc 1, while the BC exam covers Calc 1 and 2. Some schools have you take AB first as Calc 1, then BC as just Calc 2. Some schools let you choose either, and BC would be Calc 1 and 2 in that case. But no matter what, the BC exam is still going to cover AB and BC material.</p>
