Just for fun, as everything already is in.

I'm an international transfer student from Bosnia and Sweden, but I've been here in the US for almost two years now. My secondary school grades are mostly "excellent" =A, and some are bere passes or even not showing up. I've explained all the skipping in my essay, and still have a solid recommendation letter from the principal of that school. They've also put down me being in the top 5% or preeminent academically, can't remember which.

I've been at a Californian community college since then, where I've shaped up and have a 4.0 GPA (there's no 4.2 or such). I've been active in separate events here and there, with no organized EC - however, I used to be VERY, hardcore, active in politics from that I was 12 until I burned out at 17, which covers part of the skipping. The things I've done on campus include performing at events, holding class lectures on Islamic Feminism (my specialty) upon faculty invitation, and now a paper to be co-published with a professor that used to be at UCLA.

So it's a mixed bag. My ACT is 27 (math dragged it down, the rest were perfect or above average). The recommendation letters were extremely, extremely solid and from professors who've taught at prestigeous universities. I also have a personal and very strong letter from the college president himself, who's been awesome about everything.

Sometimes I feel very confident, other times I've no idea why I dared apply: I'm going for Earlham, Colby, Dartmouh, Oberlin and Yale. For the Yale app, I also sent in a completely insane drawing/thing as my "get to know you" essay.

If I am not accepted, what would you suggest I do for a year? I'd like to take off back to Bosnia and do something useful with myself, well, I will, but I doubt anybody there would be able to write a letter or verify my being there. I refuse to do any EC things for the credit only, ping-pong anime president club can go on without me.

Go on, make me freak out!
