About getting accepted to howard university

Hi everyone. I am an international student and I had applied to many US universities for 2017 fall undergraduate programme. Among the many colleges I applied to I got accepted to two. I discarded one of the college immediately due to no financial aid from the university. Now, when I has lost all my hope, I got a acceptance letter from Howard University.

But the problem is the university doesn’t actively communicate with me. Yes, they did send me a " Congratulations, you are accepted" email. But nothing more than that. I haven’t been notified whether I got a scholarship or not. I have not been notified how to get my i-20.

Now I am completely worried, as it is well past a regular decision date. Is there anybody out there who can help me out. Tell me whether such troublesome affair could lead to anything good at the end??

Regarding the scholarship, your email should say that the “Financial office will get in touch with you”. If so, you will have to wait for another email from the financial office giving you instructions about your scholarship (your log in on bisonweb).

Most international students have just recently or not yet received their acceptance letter from HU.

This too had happened with me. However, they sent the scholarship offer soon. They have never replied to my e-mails. I suggest that you call up the financial aid office and the international student office for your I-20.
