About the Blue Book practice tests...

Are they accurate in predicting how you would actually do on the real test, or are just bogus?

It varies from person to person, and varies even moreso because each SAT test will be different. Don't expect it to be a 100% accurate reflection of how will you will do, and don't expect a solid answer just by asking some people online.

My experience:
Blue book tests:
1. CR: 640; M: 630
2. CR: 640; M: 740
3. CR: 640; M: 775
4. M: 700
5. M: 690
6. M: 700

Actual:
CR: 690; M: 770

Oh, thanks. Any more thoughts?

also, is it just me are or the tests in the blue book easier than the tests in the barrons book?

Bump, bump...

I don't know... I just bought the Barron's book two days ago. And I'm currently waiting for it be delivered to me.

I just got Barron's, and I took one of their reading tests.
One of the passages was extremely confusing. I think the blue book is easier (thank goodness).

well I don't think you should be looking for easier... because that's not going to best prepare you for the real thing. I haven't bought the blue book yet. How many of you have taken the PSATs?
