What happens if you are absent the day of the AP? I heard that you have to make it up during the summer... is this true?

I've never heard that. My understanding is that if you are absent then you've missed your chance for that year. I don't think there is a "summer make up." I've never read a College Board policy that said anything about that.

there's make up day, i dunno if it applies to if you're randomly absent, but if you have more than one test at the same time then you take a different test.

Do you mean absent from the test? Or school? Every AP test day I've had, I havn't gone to school.. just showed up for the test and then hit the beach after.

I mean absent for the test

Are you going to be absent because you need to take a different test at the same time or because you think you can gain some extra study time by taking it later? If it's the latter, then you definitely can't do that

see thread "sick on AP day" a few weeks ago --
It seems like you have to prove with doctor's note that you were too sick to take the test. If you have a conflict you need to get your GC to clear it with the college board so you can take the make up test a couple of weeks later.
