Academic Achievement Application !

I started my application for St. John's University(NY) a few weeks ago but I haven't sent it in yet; its just saved., but about 2 days ago I received an email that said ... "Your interest in St. Johns University - and your potential - entitles you to receive your academic achievement application." I use to email them A LOT so I'm guessing thats where they figured I was very interested, and I think they might have read what I have on my personal statement to know about my 'potential'. But what does this application really mean? Does anyone know what it is about, because I think its a separate application since it says "Your copy will be arriving in the mail very soon...but you can get started and apply online RIGHT NOW."
-No app fee
-Admissions decision in two weeks
-Priority financial aid and housing consideration
-Waived essay, but they'd like to learn more about me in a short personal statement.

Does this mean that they want me? Does it mean that they're going to accept me? What if they don't(I rebuke), can I apply again?

i got the same exact email. I never really got in contact with St. John’s at all, except for signing up for an open house. i personally don’t think this means that they necessarily want you. i think it’s their way of encouraging students who showed some interest in their school to actually apply.

then again, i could be wrong. i took advantage of the academic achievement application, it’s much quicker to fill out… and it’s free. so it benefits more than it hurts.

call up admissions about it
