I am a Georgia Resident and I plan to participate in the Academic Common Market so I can pay in-state tuition. I also qualify for the Academic Scholars Award... can I still receive that scholarship for out of state students if I am paying in-state tuition? Has any LSU student gone through the Academic Common Market AND received a merit scholarship? I have contacted the financial aid office but they have not gotten back to me. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes. Yes. For everything, you are still considered an out-of-state student.
By the way, even if you are in-state, for most things, such as a drivers’ license, auto registration, income taxes, etc., your official address will be that of your parents as long as you are a dependent on their taxes.
