I’m a freshman and I was just put on academic probation and I have a limit of being enrolled in 13 units. Currently I am taking two classes which add up to 9 units. I have to be enrolled for at least 12 units to continue living in my dorm. Are there any lectures that don’t required being enrolled in discussions or labs? All lectures seem to have additional discussions or labs which will put me at 14 units, past my limit
Talk to your academic advisor for an exception or advice. Academic probation is designed to help students succeed - you can show that you’re not overloading yourself (maybe you’re taking an easy A, but it comes with a discussion), or maybe you can get your dorm unit requirements to be waived.
