Another community college, another semester on Academic probation and I don't know what to do?

Over the summer I quit my cashiering job to focus more on school and failed the summer courses at my community college. I was then put on academic probation 2 because I was on probation 1 the previous semester.

My school hasn't kicked me out, but they told me in order to continue, I will have to pay for the semester and appeal to get my financial aid back. Obviously the issue is, I don't have the $2,000 to pay for this semester, nor will I have it next semester for spring break.

The one thing to do would be to get a job, but with the economy the way it is, I'm not finding anything in my area. I want to move to California and I'm looking for a job there and other community colleges but I'm afraid of the out of state tuition I will have to pay once I'm out there and I don't need to add anymore debt to my already accumulated $3,000. Also, it's quite expensive out there as it is. I'm feeling so hopeless, and I promised myself this time, I'll take my academics more seriously.

What are my chances? What should I do?
