Academic Resolutions of 2015

Happy New Year’s! I was curious to see what academic resolutions everyone made for 2015. Whether you’ve come up with resolutions or not, I’m sure you have in mind what you want to accomplish this year. This time of year is always a good chance to set goals for yourself, vague or specific. I think sharing those goals could be a good motivation to push ourselves as well. On another note, I was wondering where everyone saw themselves by the end of 2015.

My Resolutions:

  1. Get all "A"s.
  2. Pass AP exams, preferably with a score above “3”.
  3. Get 136 hours interning next semester.
  4. Score above 2000 on SAT and above 30 in ACT.
  5. Practice better time management and productivity.

By the end of 2015, I see myself closer to my goals, and with a better understanding of what I want to do with my life. I’ll be applying for colleges, and while it’d be a dream to go out of town to an established school, I know that realistically I’ll be going to the nearby university. I’d like to think that I’ll be trying as hard as ever.

  1. Try to maintain an average of 93 or higher UW for the second semester.
  2. Improve Critical Reading by about 80 points at least, but 130 would be good, as I have a 670, lol (January is my last chance as a senior).
  3. Get a job at Kumon to pay for my service trip and flights for college visits in the Spring.
  4. Become more active in clubs.
  1. Get into college
  2. Don't fail too bad second semester as to get acceptance rescinded
  3. Go to said college

My only resolution is not to get a B in English again like I did this semester.

I would say not procrastinating and sleep earlier but I’m afraid I’m gonna procrastinate on that resolution too…
