So, my GPA is more than a little low. When I went to my high school to receive my transcript, the guidance office had informed me- a year after I transferred back into my high school- that certain credits from my sophomore year (I “attended” SC Connections Academy) would not be weighted as college prep courses under the school’s grading scale. This brought my GPA way, way down to a 2.7 UW at the start of my junior year, which I was able to miraculously bring up to a 3.0, which is still pretty awful.

I’m attending unifieds at NYC in January and intend on sending in my application and prescreen as soon as possible. Can I be rejected from the UP campus without auditioning for the MT program first? What are the chances of that happening?

I would like to know if there happens to be anyone else in this situation that could provide some insight. Thank you! :)
