thanks jenskate1
i was just about to pile the list together
lol
hopefully some more people will be able to find some more programs and post them up on this thread

well, rpi is more research based isnt it? i think they're a little bit different, but if i were to pick one, i would go with miami

is Sophie Davis a very respected program? because for someone like me who lives in the city that program would only run me a few thousand every year since its cuny - basically nothing

its probably not as well respected as rpi/amc right?

and yea rpi undergrad is very research based i think

Yeah.. I am in Brooklyn, NY myelf. I was wondering the same thing myself.

tulane has a 7 year program.

here's a great link that lists some of the programs and describes them:

http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/content/view/28/46/

wow studyguy, thanks -- that site is AWESOME, just what i've been looking for :)

studyguy that was a great website
i have found some great books that you people can get that list all the accelerated medical programs in the US!
High School Doctor: The Underground Roadmap to 6, 7, and 8 Year Accelerated/Combined Medical Programs (BA/MD) in the United States by Nagendra Sai Koneru, Omar Wang, Vineet Arora
From High School to Med School by Jason Yanofski, Ashish Raju

I've used both http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/content/view/28/46/ and the book, * High School Doctor: The Underground Roadmap to 6, 7, and 8 Year Accelerated/Combined Medical Programs (BA/MD) in the United States by Nagendra Sai Koneru, Omar Wang, Vineet Arora *.

In my opinion, that book is a complete waste of time. It is filled with typos and the information that it contains is very basic and can be obtained for free easily on the internet. Also, the information is out-of-date (i.e. NYU doesn't have a BA/MD Program anymore but it's listed in the book).

However, http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/content/view/28/46/ is truly a great website and it has a lot of detailed information, especially how the undergrad schools are grouped by the affiliated medical school.

I highly advise people to avoid that book. Some of the people here on CollegeConfidential could easily write a book 10x better than that.

i think villanova has a program too
mike, did the book list a lot of these programs
if its a book it should have a comprehensive list of these medical school
i was thinking about buying this book

bump...

buy MSAR for sure. all of the ones in there are accredited. plus it has lots of stats in it for the previous year as well as medical school stats. if anything with it, get from high school to medical school (ilyas book). those two easily suffice.
