Accenture Case Competition 2015 (Kick-off meeting Sept 9th)

UF is highly recruited, but it’s up to the students to reach out and take these opportunities. Don’t wait till you are about to graduate, before starting your career search. As a freshman, you should start researching careers, companies, and attending presentations by companies (join those clubs!).

This Case Competition (which sounds like a lot of fun), is one example of how a company is trying to recruit at UF. Accenture is sponsoring this event to get it’s recruiters access to potential candidates(they can learn a lot more about a person from working with them on a case, than simply reading a resume). For students, this is a great way to determine if consulting could be a possible career, and to network with recruiters (and possibly land an internship/job). And it’s something else to put on the resume…

While we’re at it, here another example…

A lot of companies will be holding these “sessions” before Career Fair.
