Acceptance emails?

^never mind my last comments, if you got the acceptance email you CAN access the admitted student’s website

IBAustralia - I guess he’s in?

We found something called the “Admitted Student Website” and he got in through there. Then, somehow, we found the page to which you’re referring - “Accepted Applicant Services,” - and he was able to login there, and it comes directly to the same page as to which I was able to eventually navigate through the other link.

Thanks.

No problem. I was also asking because I can access the “Accepted Applicant Services”, but it says my code or last name is incorrect.

IBAustralia - Did you try the “Retrieve your Admissions ACCESS CODE” link?

@IBAustralia did you receive a likely letter to Harvard?

The code is the same pin number that you used to “check your application status.”

^No, I did not get a likely, but it does allow me to click on “Retrieve your Admissions ACCESS CODE” link, and it said it was sent to my email, but has not come yet.

I’m just curious, because I heard other people say that when they tried it simply said they don’t have access to the admitted students page. but it doesn’t say that for me. And, i can access the “Accepted Applicant Services”. So I really don’t know…

^ did u get an email acceptance letter?

IBAustralia - I see. It probably hasn’t shown up yet because of all the traffic. My son lost his password to the Yale site and had to enter a new one, and it took about 45 minutes before he could finally login to find out he’d been rejected. But he’d had the Harvard access code from something previous - I guess to be able to check on the status of his application, and it worked tonight.

I hope that we eventually get an e-mail (and some snail mail) confirming his acceptance. All the best to you, too.

My son’s e-mail came about 11 pm. He was accepted.

no email here at 9 pm West Coast time. where are you notjoe? and congrats to your son! we are hopeful for our son still!

notjoe congrats to your son on his acceptance. my dd still didnt get her email yet :(

My son got his acceptance e-mail at 9:23 p.m. and we are in Louisiana. Still pinching ourselves! Hoping MIT didn’t “hack” Harvard’s system - what a cruel trick that would be!

Wth. I still haven’t gotten an email. I’m pretty sure I got rejected (can’t log in to the site), but I’d still like a definite no -______-’’

^^ same here

my son cannot log into the accepted student website so I guess he did not get in. That is OK because he got into Stanford and Princeton.

I’m still wondering just why it is that I don’t have an e-mail yet…

You’d think that 7 hours is long enough for the e-mail to overcome any sort of delay…

^Are you able to get into the admitted student site and see your name and “Reply to Your Offer …”?

Our daughter got into MIT and University of Chicago but still hasn’t heard from Harvard so we are thinking she didn’t get in. Would have loved to know as we are in Boston and toured MIT today and planned in touring Harvard tomorrow.

Question: Have ANY EA deferred students received an email??!! And have any deferred EA students been able to get through on the admitted students page?

I was able to log onto the admitted students website!! …but I still haven’t gotten the acceptance email…lol
