acceptance/rejection notification?

I was just curious...how does New College notify those who have been accepted/rejected? Do they send an e-mail....snail mail?

In past years, most students get a call from their admissions counselor letting them know they have been accepted. This is followed up by a letter (in a regular business envelope…not a big package like many other schools). So don’t immediately think it’s bad news if you don’t get a huge envelope!

I don’t know if they still make the calls or not, but you could always call them to check the status of your application.

Actually, this year my D did not get a phone call her admissions counselor, and I believe her acceptance came in a big envelope.

I got mine today, and it came in a box. I could literally see the “New College of Florida” labeled on it from my car. It came with a t-shirt and a CD, as well as with some confetti and information.

I submitted my application in the end of August. About what time will I find out if I am admitted or rejected?
