and a bunch of other crap that probably everyone applying to college has done

No clue what I look like to a college. You tell me. I'm just not sure what colleges are at my level. Any help would be awesome.

Well the thing I see is that you don't show a lot of dedication to one thing. Like I should be able to tell what you want to go into by you're stats and EC's

You're test scores are strong and EC's are interesting.

It might be of more help to us if you told us what you want to go into.

CMU is divided into a bunch of different schools (humanities and social sciences, computer science, tepper school of business, carnegie instiute of technology (engineering), college of fine arts, mellon college of science). You apply to a specific school, rather than CMU as a whole. I think you can apply to three different schools; I know you can apply to two. Because CMU has specific programs that are well known, admissions standards very a lot between the schools.

H&SS at CMU is a bit different than many schools; I've heard to it referred to as a program in applied liberal arts (we have technical writing majors, not English Lit majors). H&SS, other than the cognitive psychology department, is not particularly well known, so it's a bit easier to get into than the other schools at CMU.
