We got an email two days ago asking for a transcript that was missing in file (which was sent in October), leading me to believe they are in final stages of file review. When I asked when decisions were coming she said April 1st. It seemed strange to me that they were only now realizing they had a missing document in my daughter’s file (she applied in October) but maybe they don’t actually check the paperwork until the very end? This was the admissions office, so it seemed like artistic reviews were in fact, complete.
I read on their website that they will email on Saturday, April 1!! Best of luck to my D and all who auditioned!!
Is that April 1 thing new? Seems like people have said in the past they’ve emailed on a Thursday or Friday
April 1st was clearly stated to us at my D’s Miami audition way back on Jan18 and they said it wasn’t an April Fools joke and that it definitely will be April 1st.
They have often said April 1st but it surprisingly comes early…last year it came on the 25th…I doubt seriously they would send on Saturday…if anything – Friday, in my uneducated guess, would be the day to expect it…
.
@Spike27 neither have we. I wasn’t referring to the University of Miami, What I meant was that when my D had her satellite location audition for BoCo held in the city of Miami they told us April 1st.
My S is also waiting to hear from BoCo, one of his top choices for piano. He had his best audition there, and a lesson with a highly respected Professor. We are hoping for a great offer. He loves Boston.
Has anyone heard anything about when decisions will be out? I know some parents have connections to current students that may have updated info. I know decisions were made almost two weeks ago and last week was Spring Break. #donewithwaiting
I believe it will be before Saturday…hang in there…
C’mon BoCo. Just update the portals already. We have decisions to make!
Just got our NO:(
Sorry to hear that @missnypizza - this part is so so tough.
Portals are up!
We just got our No, also. Very disappointed, although my wallet is relieved. Trying to look on the bright side.
My daughter was accepted!!! She’s so excited!!! Best of Luck to those waiting!!
So sorry @missnypizza and @CATenorMom - we expected a no after hearing a no from NYU Tisch yesterday. The no’s are so hard we had 6 no’s in a row!!! I’ll pray for good news to come your way!
My S is in. Can’t wait to see where he lands, but BOCO certainly is the most expensive and the most prestigious and the most intense program he will be looking at. Visiting schools the week of the 10th. Can’t believe decision time is looming after all this heartache.
Congrats to those who made it in BOCO.
