<p>In the past 24 hours, I have heard back from 4 places:</p>

<p>UCSC: accepted. :)
UCD: rejected (not surprised).
UCSB: rejected (saw it coming).
Cal Poly SLO: rejected (couldn't really go there anyway cuz its too much of a hassle to swich majors).</p>

<p>ucsc is a much better school in my opinion...If you're really into the greek scene, then sdsu has a pretty stereotypical one (but the campus is beautiful)</p>

<p>YAY i was accepted to UCD and UCSB!!!(very amazed cuz i have horrible sat scores) but i have a problem i was accepted to both UCD and UCSB and i can't decide which one to go to! I want to go in to medicine and my major is biology(UCD) and Biochemistry(UCSB) so can i get some opinion in which one would u guys choose?</p>

<p>slightly bummed because i'm more of a norcal guy, but i think it could be interesting. </p>

<p>funnily enough, ucsc sent me an email in error inviting me to the engineering reception for admitted students. anyone else denied by the school of engineering get an email congratulating them on their admission? i asked them about it and they apologized for the screwup.</p>
