They accept somewhere around 32 right?

And 600+ audition?

So.... a lot of people = a lot of rejections

how soon after unifieds do people usually hear back?

No I meant, from the January 26th audition, were a lot of rejections sent out? Like did they only send out a few, or are more coming from that audition? Sorry I wasn't more specific, I was responding to the posts before me.

There waiting till all the unified cities are done. Some people hear less than 24 hours, some hear weeks.

Hey :) was anyone asked to sing more than two songs at the NYC unifieds? If so, was it acapella? Since we were only required two recorded songs to bring.

Thanks! And Good Luck to Everyone!!!

Oh! and I almost forgot! Was anyone excepted yet from Jan. 26th? And was it by email or mail ?

Pardon my error... ACCEPTED not excepted :P

I was asked to sing 3 in Chicago.

We did the dance portion and that was fun, I thought I did very well. Then I talked to Lala for a little bit. Then we switched and went into the other room and Mr. Aubrey was walking to the room, so I walked up next to him and asked him how his day was. I was sooooo nervous!!! He talked to us. Then I had my audition. . . I did my monologue and then sang my two songs. Mr. Hess laughed at my one song. . .Then they said thank you. Mr. Aubrey handed me one of those card things and told me to make sure all of my stuff was in for UofC. Then he put his hand out, and I shook his hand and everyone elses. So I don't really know what to think.

Denial from the Unifieds arrived today. Luckily, not at the top of our list even though great school, so it was a "Oh, well, whatever" reaction.

if you don't mind me asking happymom, where did your d audition? best of luck for future mt news.

Don't worry happymom, there is a fit for everyone.
It sounds like your D has the right outlook.

Just a question, though, how did the news arrive?
E-mail or snailmail?

We auditioned in New York. The letter arrived via snail mail. We did it as a warm up (sorry all of you who love ccm) on Friday to really start the audtion season. All of our friends (except one who is a leading man type) had been rejected already, so an acceptance would have shocked us.

Got my letter today.

:(

Im sorry for your news :( This is only the beginning. You will have many choices to come.

I think we auditioned together... did u go Saturday at the NYC Unifieds.... you showed me your headshot and told me funny stories? :)

Auditioned on 2/4. My friend, who auditioned the same day at the NYC Unifieds, got a rejection letter today. I've heard nothing. Dyyyyyying to find out!!
