Hi everybody! I was recently accepted as a transfer to SEAS, and there are several things I want to consider before committing. Honestly, how difficult will it be to become a part of a community entering the school as a transfer?

You’re often housed with or nearby transfers, which definitely helps, and the NSOP programs for just transfers/ combined plan/ visiting students helps facilitate a network among the transfers specifically. The best way to get integrated into the community is to join clubs and be active as much as you can, though it’s always more difficult to weasel your way into a group when you don’t have the advantage of being placed among freshmen in the same position.
