Accepted for fall 2007 - senior schedule change

I am enrolled to Michigan as a freshman for fall 2007.

My senior year classes are:

AP Literature

AP Physics

AP Government

AP Spanish

Pre Calculus

Photo I (elective: first semester)

Photo II (elective: second semester)

I would like to drop Photo II. I really want that because it'd give me perids 1,2,6 free. I emailed my admissions counselor and I'm just hoping he doesn't take forever to respond. Should this be a problem? Should I just assume he'll respond saying that it's fine, and I won't need my guidance counselor to send a letter or anything like that?

Bleh. What do you guys think?

You should probably send a letter, but I don't think it will be an issue.

In my case, my GC told me that if I dropped any more classes, they might do something because my schedule is kind of weird. It's not exceptionally easy, but dual enrollment makes things weird.

Send a letter to be on the safe side.

I really don't see why Michigan would be disappointed if you dropped a non-core elective anyway.

Epsilon: Did you email your admissions counselor? If so, how long did it take for a response?

I seriously doubt they would care. I know someone who dropped calc. He didn't call or anything, but I doubt they will change their mind on him.
