I haven’t receive anything from Stony Brook since January (No acceptance, no scholarship, no new folder). However Last week Stony emailed me about receiving my Fafsa (financial aid). Does that mean I’m being review now or I’m accepted? All of my friend already got acceptance or rejection and the ones accepted got their scholarship. I’m the only one without any email except the fafsa. Should I email them about my status or keep waiting?

I already messaged SBU about this here and I was told that it was just a FAFSA and apparently it doesn’t have anything to do with acceptance. I’m in the exact situation as you are! I’m so nervous to find out if I got in. Are you a transfer student as well?

No, I’m an incoming freshmen. I’m afraid I won’t get in because my gpa is lower than average student and my SAT isn’t that good.
