yea.... im just jealous

I'm pretty sure there are nerdier people on CC. I've seen people on CC who have gone to RSI. Now that's nerdy. The RSI people didn't even spell my name correctly on my rejection letter.

ummm ... what does rsi even mean?

RSI is a crazy summer research thing at MIT.

You should really worry about that 96.8 junior year. I suggest crying a lot about it. I mean, really. A 96.8? You can just kiss your chances goodbye. Shame on you. SHAAAAME!

UChicago will depend on your essays. These often are more important than grades or test scores.

Thank you. Writes MIT essay

Also, I was on a game show in seventh grade. I'm probably just going to talk about it in my essay. I wonder if that helps.

You can certainly write about the game show in passing, but your essay needs to convey a sense of who you are today.

you got 5 on all your AP tests? did you take all of them at school? or just independent study and took the test?

I took the courses for all of them except Euro History.

Did you get into your MIT or CAL TECH?

OP got deferred MIT

Who's OP?

I did get into Caltech EA, but not MIT.

Baklava (the food item, not the user) is a tasty treat.

Congratulations on CalTech - I'm really glad to hear you are in. I didn't get around to reading the CalTech EA results ... Stanford was too depressing and Havard incomprehensible.

Do you think you will attend, or are you waiting on the rest of your options?

OP=Original Poster

SWEET chances dude...Don't retake SAT by the way....no need to. I know someone who got into MIT with a 1470. I know that that doesn't prove much, but I mean....1570 and 1600 aren't different enough to warrant a retake. Good luck with Intel STS though.

If MIT decides to reject me, I'll get revenge by matriculating at Caltech.
