Hey guys, chance me? (Cornell ED)

So I've been here and there on these forums lately, haha, but I wanted to see my chances. at EDing Cornell CAS. I think I'm gonna apply for the mathematics major, as math as always been a passion of mine. Anyways, I'd appreciate it if I could get an honest chancing, thanks!

Asian American male, New York
GPA: Unweighted 3.77, school doesn't weight, upward trend through the years (B's to A's)
School: Very competitive, a decent amount of kids get into ivies here
Rank: Unknown, don't think school does rank (I'd probably estimate top 10-15%, eh)
APs: So far, AP Calculus AB, AP Language and Composition, AP Physics B, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics. All 5's except a 4 on stats.
SAT/ACT: 2290 SAT (taken twice) in one sitting (800M, 700CR, 790W) and 35 ACT, 32 writing (taken once). Probably not going to retake anything unless I'm sure I can get a 2400, which is pretty much saying I'm not retaking it.
PSAT: 213, no merit
SAT II: 770 Bio, 800 Math Level II, 770 Physics
Senior Schedule: Multivar Calculus and Linear Algebra, AP Bio, AP Physics C, AP Literature, Chamber Orchestra, Science Research, Economics, and Criminology. All in all, I'll have taken 8 APs by the end of senior year. Through high school, I've taken a pretty rigorous courseload that my school can offer.

ECs:
Nothing that truly stands out, but anyways:

School's Asian Culture Club for 4 years, performer at school's Asian Night

Member of School's Orchestra for 4 years, performed in the pit of school's opera, now board member
NY Allstate Orchestra Alternate, All County performer
2 years on School's Music Community Outreach (small group of music players that perform at random events, i.e. senior centers, children hospitals)
Spring Track and Field
Table Tennis Club
Research at my school for 4 years
Research Assistant at Columbia's Consciousness and Computation Lab, potential co-author of research paper
Honorable mention at 2 county wide science research fairs, 2nd place in one of them
Cashier at a deli for a summer
180+ volunteer hours as a counselor at a summer camp for children

Good essay, and good recommendations from my math and research teachers and my counselor.

Other schools I'm considering:
UIUC (legacy)
Carnegie Mellon
Cooper Union
NYU Polytech
UC Berkeley
Yeah, they're pretty much all reaches, I should probably get in some safeties, any ideas?

I wouldn't mind majoring in engineering or mathematics, but the classes at Cornell in their mathematics program were very interesting. I loved Cornell when I first visited, and it's right now my dream school.

All in all, my application I wouldn't say is terrible, but isn't that good either. I feel like I'm in a very gray area, and leaning towards the wrong end too. The biggest issue I have is with my GPA for EDing Cornell, which by now is set, so not much I can do about it, but I'm still pretty anxious. Any honest opinions are very much appreciated, thank you!

I agree with your thoughts, your GPA is the weakest part of your application. You should have a shot though, there is not much you can do now. Good luck and don’t worry!

Thanks a lot! Hoping for the best here too.
