but i checked at like 3 pm my time which is 13 hrs ahead of LA, so i guess it was like 2 am in cali…</p>

<p>Another applicant here who got rejected from first choice major of Bus. Admin. I got accepted into my secondary of Undecided/Undeclared instead. I was accepted yesterday 3/10 by the way.</p>

<p>I think UC Irvine definitely posts acceptances in waves. One of my relatives has already been accepted to UC Irvine, but will have to wait for the deadlines for Cal and UCLA. (Sorry, I don’t know what day he was accepted or his intended major.)</p>
<p>I do know from another relative who applied two years ago that she was notified that she was accepted into any UC she wanted (even the ones she didn’t apply to), except she had to wait for the deadlines for Cal and UCLA. Except for Cal/UCLA, UC definitely notifies the very strong applicants ahead of time. I’m pretty sure that they also notify Regent’s Scholars at each school before the published deadlines, even at Cal/UCLA.</p>

<p>business admin. was my 1st choice. they gave me psychology. major doesn’t really matter cus you can always switch once you accept their admission and go to college.</p>
