ACCEPTED! to Multicultural visitation program!

I sent in my ap July 19 and then mailed me back july 28 that i was accepted. Im going in the oct. 1 weekend

Who else is going?!

probably we can rendezvous!

oh that's cool. i hope i get one soon too. i live in cali.

Omg, I'm so happy! I'm going!! I just realized I got my letter today (Sunday) but I think I got it on Friday. I had completely erased Williams from my list because I thought I had no shot. Yay!!! Anyway, I'm going on the 29-31st.

Congrats guys! Attending the multicultural program will be a nice boost for admissions. Also, they wave the application fee for you. :) Have fun!

i'm crossing fingers for mine. probably coming tomorrow..

i didn't make it... ^^
but they did give me application waiver. the rejection letter was so nice. is the content of rejection letter same for everyone? i sure hope rejection from this program doesn't relate to what will happen when i apply..

what did it say in your rejection letter....wait you got an app waiver....

i might not be attending the open house because of school conflictions

can i still get a fee waiver since im most likely not going anymore, and how would i get one?

I'm sorry man; if it makes you feel better though, they say that preference would be given to those with low-income, or something along those lines, so it wasn't just based on academics.

yeah i got mine through QuestBridge, will be going on Oct.1st through 3rd. Were you guys able to RSVP with St.Jacques? or is that only for QuestBridge people? the phone # is 413/597-3309, right?

Questbridge does this too? I've been on their site for weeks now and haven't found a working link to their applications. And yes to both questions: I spoke with a woman yesterday who asked for some information and then told me that more information would be coming via snail mail.

I am going!! I got my acceptance on Monday! I am going Oct. 1-3.

I just received my train tickets to Williams in the mail today. I'm so excited! I have an idea, why don't we CCers introduce ourselves on this thread, and see each other during the visit? well, i'll go first. My name is Hao, from New Jersey, and i'll be there from oct.1 to 3rd.

I didn't know about this program until the end of August but I emailed Williams and said I was interested in it even though it was way past the application deadline. They told me they would put me on a waitlist in case anyone drops out. Lucky me I guess. I'll be there Oct. 29-31.

Sweet guys. I think I might have signed up as a host... can't remember. So, i might see ya'll around.

lol, I didn't get a fee waiver with my rejection letter. :(

How did you guys find out about this program??? I never knew about it and now I'm paranoid that I should have gotten a letter about it and they didn't send me one because I'm unqualified or something...and I'm planning on applying ED so yeah I'm really nervous now...

i was accepted going tommorow!!!

I went to the multicultural visitation last year. It rocked my socks off.

That's what made me fall in love with this place. I'm sure that you guys will have a great time. The admission officers have a neat program packed for you guys. And heck, you might even be able to go to some parties or go to some club meetings, or just hang out and make new friends. Have fun, rest up, and enjoy yourselves.

ah yes azncookie and leonesa. how i've missed you guys at the williams forum. and it looks like williams is back again with their multicultural recruitment program. haha... good times!

hahah yeah i applied through quest bridge before they sent the email about "seniors only" well i applied as a jr and got accepted... i called to clear things up and apologize but they told me im going next year for sure!

yay!

so like.. what do you do?
