are you guys for sure going to berkeley?

Unless you snipe easy classes (EPSM!!!!) it is not necessarily a grade booster. For example, R1B is a notorious B factory.

I think it depends on the professor too. I know one R1B professor who is literally the easiest professor I know, FPF or on-campus.

what if I decide to enroll in a FPF by the middle of April? Do you guys think they'll have space?
And does anyone know how many people were admitted for the Spring semester?

It seriously might fill up by then, although they do have a waitlist. I think around 2000 students are typically admitted for the spring.

Around 700. It should be on their website.

Should a Haas hopeful who took AP Calculus AB & who got a 770 on SAT II Math2, 760 Math SAT & 36 on ACT math take Math 1A- Calculus or Math 1B-Calculus in the FPF?

Should you take Rhetoric R1A- the craft of writing or R1B in the FPF if you're a crummy writer (SAT W-650, ACT Writing 30) but snagged a 4 on the AP Language & Composition test (so qualify for R1B)?

Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking that Integrative Biology 33- age of the dinosaurs would be an easier way to satisfy the Biological Science breadth requirement than Anthropology 1. Am I mistaken?

Going to FPF as OOS student is a steal-deal. You don't pay out of state tuition that term. When I told some OOS students that, they wanted to know if they could enroll thru FPF! True, it only affects 1/8 of your college career, but if you are expected to pay all of the tuition some help is better than nothing.

Prof. Richards is just too badass to miss out on.

DEFINITELY take Math 1B. You do not want to take Math 1B on campus. Math 1B in FPF is a lot easier, and you need the GPA boost.
