ACCEPTED to USC!

Congrats to all who have been accepted. DD received her acceptance packet from USC today. For those who have asked about location and school accepted to: Annenberg and we live in the southern US.

For5aken, thank you for the reply. Did you apply by the scholarship deadline, or the regular application date? And is it normal to hear early if you just applied by the regular deadline?

just got mine, i was not expecting this so soon. congrats to everyone else!

location is Norcal

Aww, I didn't get anything in the mail today. Does that mean I don't have a chance of getting Presidential/Dean's now?

I'm getting really anxious...I live in SoCal, shouldn't I be hearing from them soon?? x_x

^ Lovelyday,
I wouldn't worry now. It's only the 2nd day of admissions coming in ..

Thanks for the reassurance, MrxPenguin :)
I guess I'll be waiting in front of my mailbox again tomorrow, lol.
The wait really does kill!

accepted. yay! now just hoping for scholarship letter...

oh, and it made me laugh how my first thought was "I better go get on cc!" hahah

For Norcalers who have been accepted, did you guys apply for the scholarship deadline?

ughh... so now I'm resorting to wondering... how east has it reached?
cause Up State NY isn't that east... I'm all the way by Boston... so I'm hoping it might not have reached me yet????
cross fingers

Loevelyday I know what you mean....i live in socal too and i havent gotten anything...hopefully we still have a chance

Thank you! I feel like the only one in So. CA who hasn't received her USC letter. It's killing me! This is me being paranoid, but do you think they send the acceptances out by surname because my surname begins with a Y and I know a C who got in?

^i'm from socal too and i'm still waiting for a letter. i know an L who got in and i'm an L too. don't worry, i think we're all a little paranoid. me especially :/

GRRRRRRR south cali and still nothing! i hate this

wow this is a pain. my friend who freaking lives in the same city already got it. Why USC do you torment this socal kid?

^ I live in NorCal (congrats especially to the Bay Areans! :)) and I got my letter like 3 days before my friend did, so don't worry, they don't all come on the same day!

Yay! I got my letter today. I am from PA so it has reached the east coast. However, those east coasters who didn't get it yet, don't worry. I mean, depending on which plane or truck your letter got put on, I'm sure they won't all arrive at exactly the same time. LA is looking might nice as it was o degrees fahrenheit here last week (agghhh). Does anyone know if its possible to get two scholarships? If I had the National Merit scholarship could I also get the Presidential or trustee? I was sooo confused when I got the packet because I didn't think that decisions were coming out until April. My mom was just like, "oh you got some package from USC again" and I thought it was just more information. It was definately a big (and wonderful!) surprise when I opened it up. Best of luck to everyone out there, I am sure you will all do fine! Also, even if you weren't lucky this time, please dont get too depressed. I just got deferred from my top choice in December and was completely and utterly crushed. However, now this happened and it has made me so happy! So, even if it doesn't work out this time, I am sure that you all will get into a college you will love (it sounds so cliche, but its true, I swear, cliches are cliches for a reason)

anybody get any info on scholarships (trustee, prez, etc.) yet?

Have any international students gotten anything yet? :)

-Will report back in a month when the mail sent out two days ago finally arrives here... (if I get anything at all :()

Yeah I'm from PA too but I didn't get any letters from USC yet...

Because I'm just a regular applicant, not up for the scholarship standard, I might get mine later than everyone else who's being considered for scholarship.

is there a way we can find out online?

I tried to call the admission officers to see whether they've already processed my app.

"Have any international students gotten anything yet?"

I have been accepted. I'm from India. (The mail was sent out through DHL Courier, for me atleast.)

Does anyone know how the scholarship interview process work for internationals who cannot attend Explore - USC? (Presuming I get a scholarship of course)
