still nothing for me… i think this is a bad sign for me :/

My D. hasn’t received anything yet either. Don’t lose hope. Another poster called and they were “stuffing envelopes” on the sixth. They probably weren’t mailed until the next day. Give it a few more days before you worry. ;)

My S was accepted on Monday 12/6. He received his merit award today which was $12,000 per year.
Not real happy with his merit award. He had 98% GPA with SAT’s of 2070 and ACT of 32. With Good EC’s.

He has applied to some Ivy’s and other Privates.

This was his first reply from the Schools he has applied to.

More to follow hopefully better $$'s will come.

Only 22.5% had their need fully met.
Smaller Catholic schools usually do not meet a lot of need, due to small endowments.

I also got $12,000 a year with a 94 GPA and 31 ACT.

Im thinking this is probably a bad sign
Grrr…I was really hoping it was alphabetical
or in batches or something

What part of the country to do you live in, Sutton?

just an update: still nothing.
I received 2 acceptances… one rolling where I applied exactly a week before i got the letter in the mail… and another where the early action deadline was Dec. 1. So my question is: why cant Stonehill just send me a letter??? im so nervous about this!

got my acceptance letter today!!!

I live in Massachusetts about 1hr 15mins from stonehill. I still havent gotten anything. I feel like its a rejection probably :(

If your screen name is an indicator, we live near you. My son received his acceptance in yesterday’s mail. You should hear shortly.

No, actually Sutton is my first name :)

Sutton,

Has your school sent your first term grades and did you have 2 teacher recs? Otherwise, that is strange because my friend who applied ED got in today.

Ya, they sent everything a long time ago, around the beginning of November and even had to send grades twice because a grade was incorrect and had to be updated.
Im hoping its just the mail being slow…I had called before and they had my APP and it was completed, and that was a long time ago, and called again last week and they were stuffing envelopes so…
I’m just a little frustrated with them right now

Nothing has arrived for D. We live in Florida. Hoping for Monday. ;)

Everything was in for me as well…but if it doesnt come tomorrow then im calling to make sure. I sent in one reccomendation through the mail, one through naviance, my transcripts were all sent, and i did send my SAT scores. I wish they had a site where you could check your application status. Im so frustarated by this… it was supposed to be 4 weeks!

All my stuff arrived on Friday along with two of my other friends who applied. All were acceptances. There were a couple other folks who applied from my school, one of them called the college and they said they wouldn’t be sending her stuff out til early this week…

We were supposed to get it by December first, so I am so angryyyy with this
I still haven’t gotten anything. I’m just so frustrated I want to know something good or bad…

If I did not use the Select/VIP application does that mean that I wont find out until January? Is there anyway I could find out sooner?

The select apps were supposed to know by december first and other early stuff is sent in january i think?
