Accidentally sent scores in twice. Help!

Hey CC,

I'm applying SCEA so I sent in my SAT scores today, but im also taking a subject test in November that I'm hoping the SCEA adcom will see. I first sent in the scores I already took, then I saw that I could send in the subject test when it was ready so in my haste I re-sent those too. The problem is that it says the scores sent with the subject test will not be processed until after the SAT II has been scored.

Will my SAT scores be sent in late even though I already sent the completed ones in seperately?
Do schools for some reason not like applicants who send in multiple sets of scores?

Help!
and of course, thanks in advance

bumpppp 10charrr

You get 4 free score reports with each test. You can sign up for these from registration to I think 10 days after the test is taken. If you pick those 4 schools (and whatever additional schools you pick at the exact time of selecting those 4 free score reports), then all of your scores will be sent out when the November scores are released. Nothing will be sent out prior.

At any other time (or after using your 4 free score reports), you can send out the scores that have already been released.

To answer your question: if all you have done is sign up for the 4 free ones that come with the November test, then they will not go out until that test is released. For an SCEA deadline, you will have to send out your scores from the already-released tests now. Yes, you will have to send them twice (schools will receive the same scores you must send now in addition to your subject test the second time around), but no, schools will not care.

Alright, I sent in my already-released test scores in my original post but I see now that was kind of unclear. :p

@notanengineer, thank you for clearing this up for me!
