I been interested in both. I like numbers and money alot. But I also like the statictics and what is going to be popular or not in the market.

Can some people tell me the job propestive of these twoa nd how far of degress do I have to go through to get a job atleast

Best bet would be to ask in the Business Majors sub-forum here.

The short answer:
Both majors can open opportunities to go into a very wide varying selection of careers.
Accounting
Bookkeeper
Accounting Services
Auditing
CPA
and many many more

Economics
A lot of things in the business realm just short of something specific like Accounting or Marketing - closest thing business-wise would be Finance depending on your school’s program
Economist, bonefide (if you want to get into theoretical economics, or specialize in something like Monetary policy through a PhD)
and many many more

The careers that require a Master’s or above are CPA and bonefide Economist. Most anything else can generally be obtained at the bachelor level give or take some experience depending on the specific position in which you are applying.

Accounting is always seen as one of those career fields that is always growing at faster than the market average, and although nothing is a guarantee, it’s “safer” than other careers. Economics in contrast is a more versatile degree because you can be exposed to a little bit of business and a little bit of finance, but you specialize in neither, and the quantitative skills that can be obtained from most Econ classes translate well with the skills needed in a lot of general business positions. A PhD helps more than a MA/MS for Econ. An MS for Acct is usually required to be able to meet the requirements to sit for CPA exams (among other reqs).

Thank you so much this will help me in the long run
