I'm just finishing up my sophomore year as a Business major. I need to pick a concentration so I've narrowed it down to either accounting or finance. But now I'm lost as where to go. I do like accounting to some degree, but I've only taken the first two financial accounting classes (first class I got an A & the one I'm in now I'm guessing is going to be around an A- or B+). Next would be Intermediate, which I've heard from more than one that it is hell. I'm scared if I take Intermediate and do bad it will drop my GPA. So that's why I was considering a Finance concentration, and if I do so, I would be able to minor in Economics whereas if I do accounting, I can't do that minor (not enough time).

I just want some opinions. Would it be better to do accounting and risk a somewhat lower GPA with that? Or just do Finance and most likely end up with a higher GPA along with the Econ minor?
