Accounting required for transfer?

Um…everyone keeps talking about accounting is required for transfer…where does it show this?

If trying to get into Marshall, it is highly recommended to come in with those.

@CADREAMIN What about if your going to Dornslife Econ?

I’m assuming accounting is not a class needed for Dornsife econ, so the answer would be no. Look at the requirements for Dornsife, they like you to come in with some of the “core” classes for that major, which for business would be accounting, but in econ would be math and basic econ classes. Also, google articulation agreement USC and your CC, and if there isn’t one, find a CA school that you think is similar to yours, that will give you an idea of classes that transfer. Read through last years transfer thread, it has many pages, but lots of what you are likely wondering was discussed. But look for posts from the students already in who transferred (it is obvious, a couple were regular posters there), there were a couple super helpful Trojans who know what they are talking about. Lastly, and more accurately, call admissions and see if they can give you guidance, they are there to help. Even if it is selective, you are still a potential customer seeking information on a product, they should want to give that to you. Good luck!
