Ack! October already?!

Is anyone else as amazed as I am at how fast September went by?

How is everyone doing on their applications? Have you sent any in yet?

I have everything organized and just have to finish working on my essays and my activities list. :/

It’ll all move really quickly, until January. Then it’s hurry up and wait!

Lauren

I should probably ask for recs soon!
It’s already October? Yeeshhhhhhh. I thought I had more time.

Terrible isn’t it? Luckily, I asked for my recs before school even started. Now, all I have to worry about is finishing up my essays. Hopefully that won’t take me too long.

Almost no progress, lol. Except studying for SATs and doing other sutff.

:(…

Ack! I need to write my supplemental essay!

Why does everything go by so quickly?!

Time is not moving quickly for me at all. It has been dragging since, like, ninth grade when I first got senioritis… and now it’s just unbearable.

Haha i agree with applicannot. I think October is going to fly though…QB deadlines, my birthday, Halloween (BEST HOLIDAY EVAR). It’s my favorite month by far

Lol, time is going by really quickly. I haven’t sent in any apps, though I finished most of my writing. Waiting on some essay feedback before I send off my early action apps (MIT and Chicago). October will be gone in the blink of an eye. I’m enjoying sr year so far :), but I’d like to finish all of these applications so that my part of the process is over and I can focus on other things.

Ju_liaa: Yes! Halloween is awesome. And October really is one of the best months.

I HATE supplemental essays. They’re a wonderful shot for the college to get to know what you’d bring to them personally, but boy do they get on your nerves sometimes.

I hate October. It is the month with no personality. Nothing happens in October (and I don’t like Halloween). I have finished my University of Pittsburgh application and expect a response in the next few weeks. I am waiting to hear from QuestBridge, in which case I have another grueling deadline to meet (I also have some stuff to do by the 12th, but I need a break; it can wait until Monday!). I also have an overnight experience at the George Washington University, an information night for Rice and Chicago, and a bridal shower. Hopefully October will be like bam, bam, bam. At least I can do NaNoWriMo in November to make it go by more quickly.

@Mare_Crisium- I’m having trouble thinking of a topic. I want to do something light and amusing to counterbalance the seriousness of my common app essay, but I just haven’t found the perfect idea yet. I’m considering conlanging though, since that can be pretty amusing.
