Is the lamest thing I've ever heard of. I already know about alcohol and what my favorite drinks are. I don't need them telling me the HARMFUL effects of it. I'm not doing that course. I dont care. I'm not doing it.

Anyone else thing this is stupid and that we covered this in 9th grade health?

princeton has required pre-frosh to complete this course for several years now. it's not alone. several hundred colleges use the program, in some form, including brown, cornell, dartmouth, and penn. so, suck it up. it's painless.

This may sound sadistic, but I'm kind of glad that other schools have to do this. MIsery really does love company, especially when said misery has a best friend going to Brown who will have to suffer through the same thing!

Hahaha....ICargirl....same here. I have friends at Brown, Penn, and Cornell. Maybe I'll just make them do mine for me.

sucharita - its no obnoxious...it just seems really elementary. We did this in high school. Oh well...suchy....you and me baby...we'll have our own AlcoholEdu night. :)

I'm so sick of disappointing, misleading mail from Princeton. When I got this alcohol thing last night I was like "hmm the envelope's kinda thin but it says it's from campus life or something...oooooh rooming" except NOT. Rawwwrrrr

But yea, this thing seems pretty painless; they're just trying to cover their ***es so nobody sues or something

I had the same thought, Zante. But the dissapointment did give way to some hope. I seem to have recieved the letter earlier than most of you (on Saturday), so I'm hoping that that means I'll get housing info quicker than expected as well!

Really, it's not that bad. Although if they're going to give you a two hour online course in alcohol awareness, it would be nice if you could at least get something useful like TIPS certification out of it. :-P

I never completed the AlcoholEDU course. They want you to do it, but they don't go after you if you don't. Don't worry if you don't have the time now.
