Can anyone tell me what the point is of the statement you have to right in cursive at the end? Lol, Login | Facebook

Ha ha I find it hilarious that you have to certify in cursive - possibly the most difficult part of the test (jk)

I don’t even TRY to remember how to write a cursive “I.” For me, the whole thing really just looks like print writing where I didn’t pick up the pencil as much. It’s pretty sad.

You have to do this on the SAT too. I felt like an idiot and thought I would be the last person finished. I barely remembered any cursive. It was definitely the first time I’ve written in cursive since fifth grade. It’s funny because just a generation ago, NO ONE printed! Cursive, I think, is a dying breed.

Agreed it’s a dying breed - jax I do the same thing I just don’t pick up the pencil and hope nobody ever looks at it:)

I got hung up for a minute or two the last two times I took the ACT trying to figure out how to write a capital cursive “I.”

lol my cursive statement was nothing short of pathetic. A kid at my school tried to tell me that the essay had to be in cursive. I just nodded my head and walked away

I think it’s so they can have more material to gauge you signature against, so that no one can just come in and take it for you.
